Stewardship

Ways to Give

As members of the ELCA, we believe that we are freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor.

How do we respond to God’s call to serve and love our neighbors? We faithfully steward the gifts God has so abundantly given to us. Although some think of stewardship as only a financial response to God’s love, stewardship encompasses so much more than money. It is about how we use all that God has entrusted to our care — our time, our talents and our treasures — to love God and our neighbors, both inside and outside of the church walls and our homes.

Direct Transfer

Direct Transfer for Church Giving. The following information is being provided so members, if interested, can provide financial support to the church by direct transfers or by using the bill pay feature from their banking institution. Members that are DNB National Bank customers will need to sign a form authorizing the bank to automatically transfer money from their account to St. Paul’s account, based on the information they provide on the form such as amount to be transferred and when the transfers are to occur. This method of payment can be completed by visiting the Bookkeeping department in person at the bank. Contact Jenae Schake or Randy Keimig to assist you.

Members who bank elsewhere and access their account online can set up payments through their bank's 'bill pay' feature by creating St. Paul’s as a payee.  All you'll need to do is provide St. Paul’s address, telephone number and use your envelope number for the account number.  Use the comment section to direct where your donation is to be used.  DNB customers can also pay with bill pay instead of direct transfers.

All donations will be recorded as usual
If you have any questions or would like further details please contact Roxi Rahlf by email [email protected]

Time & Talents

Some of you might remember the phrase Time or Talents. Perhaps you hear it still on Thankoffering Sundays or Stewardship Talks in church.  There are many more ways to donate and give then just financially. There is a variety of ways friends and family volunteers at St. Paul's (These are not in any order):

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church
Clear Lake, SD
Time and Talents Survey
We would like to know the talents and gifts the membership of St. Paul’s have in order to accomplish the mission of Christ in our community. Please take a minute and look over any of the ministries in St. Paul's that you might be willing to volunteer your time. This survey is just to show you the areas we welcome volunteers. Your Involvement in St. Paul's is crucial to keeping our ministry alive. Thank you from the Deacons, Church Council and Pastor Dayna.
