Pastor Dayna L. Weltzin
One meet-n-greet and a First Call invitation later, Pr. Dayna and her husband, Tim, became members of the St. Paul’s flock. Two Iowans became “SoDakans”. After several moves, the couple feels refreshed landing at home in Clear Lake. Besides ministering, Pastor enjoys time outdoors, home projects and antiquing. In the Spirit of relationship building, Dayna is active in local groups: Kiwanis, Healthy Hometown committee, New Hope for Cancer, Deuel County Community Foundation, the Ministerial Association and Feeding SD monthly distribution. Pr. Dayna earned her Master of Divinity from Wartburg Theological Seminary. She has a Masters in Adult learning from Drake University and graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College with degrees in Spanish and Communications. You might say she’s a life-long learner. She prays that St. Paul’s Lutheran, ELCA, is a safe oasis. All are welcome here! Jesus said, “Come all who are weary, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28) |
